Launch Party: 1st Feb 2020, with Sara White
Our first Jive/Tango party of 2020!
We’ll have a full evening of Modern Jive in the main hall, and Argentine Tango in the back room.
We’re also very happy to welcome the awesome Sara White teaching an introductory Blues class in the main hall from 7:30pm – 8:15pm
We’ll have our normal Argentine Tango classes in the back room as well, and we may even play a Back Room Blues set in that room during the evening if you’re lucky.
About Sara White
Sara White is widely recognised as one of the leading teachers of Blues dance in the UK. Her passion for letting the music drive the dance is reflected in her unique and sassy teaching style, creating dancers who are in demand wherever they go.
Sara White has taught Blues dance throughout the UK and Europe for over 15 years, training some of the best blues dancers and teachers.
Sara also hosts the national Crystal Blues Challenge, the UK’s #1 blues championship, as well running acclaimed Blues and Advanced Dance workshops, and organising multiple events and weekenders.
We are delighted to have such a renowned guest teacher contributing to our first Bookham event of 2020.
Modern Jive DJ – David Taylor
Our Modern Jive DJ for the 2020 Launch Party is David Taylor: David is a vastly-experienced DJ, who is passionate about music, and strives to offer the best and most inspiring music around.
David runs the monthly Club Jive group events in Addlestone, and we’re really excited to bring him to Bookham for our 2020 Launch Party!
